Order flow analysis studies the actual buy and sell orders hitting the market, volume, the order book and trade aggressiveness, to gauge real-time supply and demand.
Rather than lagging indicators, order flow looks at footprint charts, the depth of market (DOM) and heatmaps to see who is in control. It requires granular Level 2 data. Algovex provides a native order-flow node library (footprint, heatmap, DOM).
