Summary
How refunds work
Algovex is digital software with immediate access. We do not offer discretionary refunds for a change of mind, lack of use, or dissatisfaction with results. What you are always entitled to is the statutory right of withdrawal described below, together with any mandatory consumer-law remedies.
At checkout you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge that your 14-day right of withdrawal lapses once the subscription or item has been provided. Subscriptions and delivered marketplace items are therefore not refundable. You can cancel a subscription at any time to stop the next renewal. The full withdrawal details are on our Cancellation & Withdrawal (Widerruf) page.
Scope
What this policy covers
This policy applies to paid Algovex subscriptions and to digital items purchased through the Algovex marketplace. Your mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence are not affected by this policy.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions & cancellations
- You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it is not a refund.
- You keep access until the end of the current paid period.
- Because you consent to immediate access at checkout, paid periods are not refundable, including unused time. Your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected (see below).
Marketplace
Marketplace purchases
Strategies and other digital items are delivered immediately. By purchasing, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your 14-day right of withdrawal lapses once the item has been fully supplied. For this reason, delivered marketplace items are not refundable. Your mandatory consumer rights below are unaffected.
Dissatisfaction with the trading results of a strategy is not a defect. Past or hypothetical performance does not guarantee future results (see our Disclaimer). The only relief we provide is where mandatory law requires it for an item that is materially faulty, not as described, or never delivered.
Withdrawal
EU/EEA & UK right of withdrawal (statutory exception)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, the law gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal. We cannot and do not remove this right, but for digital products it lapses as soon as you ask for immediate access:
- Immediate access (the normal case): when you start a paid plan, or download or access a digital item right away, you give your express consent to begin performance before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This consent is captured at checkout, so the subscription or item is not refundable.
- If you have not yet accessed it at all, the withdrawal right still applies in full and you may withdraw within 14 days for a refund of that unused purchase.
Non-refundable
Never refundable
- Trading losses, or losses from running automated or exported strategies. Algovex provides software and tooling, not investment advice, and does not trade on your behalf except where expressly offered and enabled in your region.
- Third-party fees already remitted (for example payment processing, or your own data-provider or broker charges) where they are non-recoverable, unless required by law.
- Tokens, credits or usage that have been consumed.
Chargebacks
Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback instead of exercising a valid statutory withdrawal or contacting us first is a breach of these terms. Access to paid features and purchased items may be suspended while a chargeback is investigated. If you believe you are entitled to a refund or withdrawal, please contact us first via our contact page or follow the withdrawal procedure.
Statutory rights
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your non-waivable rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence. Where this policy and mandatory law conflict, mandatory law prevails.
