Bollinger Bands

Bollinger Bands are a volatility envelope of standard deviations plotted above and below a moving average.
The bands widen with volatility and contract in quiet markets; a narrow 'squeeze' often precedes a strong move. Price riding a band signals a strong trend, while reversion to the middle band suits ranges. Algovex provides Bollinger Bands with band-width output.
