Harmonic Patterns nodes

8 Harmonic Patterns building blocks in the Algovex node library. Each is a node you can drop on the visual canvas, connect into a strategy, backtest and export. No code required.

  • 5-0 Pattern

Detects the 5-0 harmonic pattern — a reversal structure where AB extends 1.13-1.618× XA, BC extends 1.618-2.24× AB, and the entry D point is projected at the 50% retracement of the BC leg. Distinct from other harmonics in that D is a projected completion zone (not a detected swing). Use as a counter-trend reversal trigger when price reaches the projected D.

  • ABCD Pattern

Detects the foundational ABCD harmonic where BC retraces 38.2-88.6% of AB and CD extends 1.13-2.618x of BC. The completion point D is a high-probability reversal zone, especially when AB ≈ CD (equal legs). Use as a precision entry trigger at D with stops at C.

  • Bat Pattern

Detects the Bat harmonic pattern with a precise 0.886 XA retracement at D (D contained between A and X). One of the most reliable harmonics due to the tight D-point. Use as a reversal entry trigger at D with stops beyond X.

  • Butterfly Pattern

Detects the Butterfly extension harmonic where D extends beyond X (1.27-1.618 of XA). Because D overshoots the start point, it often catches over-extended moves at sharp V-reversal points. Use as a reversal entry trigger at D.

  • Crab Pattern

Detects the Crab harmonic with the most extreme D extension at 1.618 of XA. The deep extension creates aggressive reversal entries when price is far over-extended. Use at D with stops beyond the 1.618 level.

  • Cypher Pattern

Detects the Cypher harmonic where C exceeds A and D completes at 0.786 of XC. Unique among harmonics because the C leg extends past the A extreme — D is then derived from the XC leg, not XA. Use as a reversal trigger at D; the extended C often traps breakout traders before reversing.

  • Gartley Pattern

Detects the original Gartley 222 harmonic — a 5-pivot reversal where B retraces 0.618 of XA, C retraces 0.382-0.886 of AB, and D sits at 0.786 of XA contained between A and X. Use as a reversal entry trigger at point D with stops beyond X.

  • Wolfe Wave

Detects 5-wave wedge-like reversal pattern using swing points.
