Support & Resistance nodes
5 Support & Resistance building blocks in the Algovex node library. Each is a node you can drop on the visual canvas, connect into a strategy, backtest and export. No code required.
Classic Support/Resistance
Classic horizontal support/resistance: swing highs and lows clustered into price levels, ranked by touch count (strength). Levels persist until price closes through them, then dim as broken — the way a trader hand-draws S/R.
Dynamic S/R
A dynamic support/resistance band that moves with price. Choose the band method: Keltner (EMA ± ATR, default — smoothest, volatility-adaptive), Bollinger (SMA ± stdev), Donchian (recent high/low channel) or legacy EMA band.
Pivot Points
Classic floor-trader Pivot Points: from the prior completed period (day/week/month) High, Low and Close it derives a central pivot PP and three support (S1-S3) and three resistance (R1-R3) levels by the STANDARD formula. The levels are constant for the whole current period and are drawn as horizontal lines. PP is neutral — it acts as support while price is above it and resistance while below it.
Psychological S/R Levels
Identifies nearest round number levels (e.g., x00, x50) as psychological support and resistance.
Swing S/R Levels
Derives support and resistance levels from recent swing highs and lows.
